  Lovely place, great food, wonderful staff - but two big challenges to eating here: it's very small (and so often crowded) and their hours can be difficult to navigate. They close down for several hours in the afternoon, which always seems to be either just before, or just after, I arrive. I assume it's nothing personal, but their closing down in the middle of the day needs to be taken into account when planning... You might arrive only to be turned away!

  This is the spot to get breakfast in the Basking Ridge area. There is usually a pretty long wait, but the food is great. My favorite is the breakfast skillet which has the perfect combination of crispy potatoes and a sunny side up egg. The bacon is great to. I only wish the restaurant were a little bigger.

  Food is really good, but a bit pricey. Place is quaint with great atmosphere. Get there early on the weekends or prepare to wait. Staff is young and inexperienced, but extremely organized and friendly. Definitely go if you've never been.
